Outcasts Designer Feature

About Outcasts:

We are the Outcasts, a sisterhood of knitters who meet every Wednesday at the jelly gallery, Reading. We come together to knit, crochet, sew, make things, eat cake and drink tea whilst sitting under knitted bunting in a room of hand-made creatures, serenaded by each other’s company and inspiration

We dedicate the same efforts to knitting cotton balls, flower baskets, microphones, board games, fruit, jam and biscuits as well as jumpers, scarves, wedding garters, gloves for rock bands, hats jewellery, Christmas decorations and tea cosies

Insprirations:

The Outcast knitters are drawn to traditional crafts as well as mundane objects, which they replicate with freestyle into an undomesticated universe.

Our fingers do not discriminate between knitting the useful or the useless.

Best Sellers:

Because we make mundane and unusual items, pretty much all of it is our best sellers – a visit to our stall will be an extraordinary yarny delight.

We Make Christmas:

You’ll probably find something unexpected on our stall and amongst the unexpected surprises, we’ll have plenty of gorgeous hand dyed yarn, knitting kits, hand made accessories and gifts such as scarves, hats, gloves, purses, knitted gnomes, tea cosies and of course Christmas Decorations
